We made sure to visit Taipei 101, Taiwan's famous skyscraper and one of the world's tallest buildings, to get a 360-degree view of the city.
For NTD 500/person, we were allowed entrance to the Indoor Observatory at the 89th floor. We explored on our own using recorded, self-guided voice tours.
The Indoor Observatory also features informative displays and special exhibits.
Visitors also get to see this (big-ass) tuned mass wind damper, which is supposed to protect the building from structural failure.
Taipei 101 also sells some ridiculously expensive stuff.
